The widespread use of projection systems has become a standout feature in nearly every pavilion's design. Countless breathtaking and ingenious projection applications can be found throughout the venue. The vast potential of projection technology in diverse applications has filled industry professionals with confidence in its future prospects.

As a century-old corporation headquartered in Osaka, Panasonic naturally seized the opportunity to participate in this grand event. As an industry pioneer with a prominent position in the projection field, Panasonic Projection holds distinct advantages in engineering projection solutions. Renowned for its high-quality, high-performance, and ultra-reliable products, the company has provided projection equipment support for numerous global mega-events, including multiple Olympic Games, Winter Olympics, and World Expos.

At the 2025 Osaka Expo, Panasonic not only established its corporate pavilion themed "NOMO no Kuni" (Country of NOMO) but also supplied cutting-edge projection systems to over 30 national and thematic pavilions. According to incomplete statistics, nearly 500 Panasonic projectors of various models have been deployed across different venues, powering numerous exhibitions. These solutions enable participating organizations to realize highly creative visual presentations that perfectly align with their respective thematic displays.

Creating Immersive Experience Spaces

At Panasonic's "NOMO no Kuni" Pavilion, the "Unlock Experience Zone" combines stereophonic sound, 360° visuals, and tactile elements to deliver a multisensory journey integrating light, imagery, sound, and cutting-edge technology. Visitors encounter breathtaking spectacles such as:

1/ A massive 7m × 3.5m "waterfall (fog wall)" projection for a walk-through immersive experience

2/ A dreamlike 1.3m-diameter "vortex ring" descending from the ceiling with mesmerizing fog effects

Breaking away from traditional passive viewing modes, these interactive installations engage Alpha Generation children through multi-sensory stimulation, unlocking their imagination, creativity, and untapped potential.

Enhancing Visual Effects to Vividly Present Themes and Stories

This type of application is too numerous to list. Large-scale projections alone deliver a more stunning visual impact. Through projection systems, countries and cities can showcase their unique characteristics and development via videos, animations, and other dynamic formats, achieving a grand presentation of their themes. This approach proves far more intuitive and engaging than traditional display methods, allowing audiences to effortlessly grasp the core messages each pavilion aims to convey.

Projection technology also enables diverse presentation formats, such as:

1/ 3D/4D virtual-reality integration

2/ Holographic displays creating fantastical effects

3/ Other immersive techniques to craft theme-aligned atmospheres

By leveraging these innovations, exhibitors can transform their narratives into captivating visual experiences that resonate deeply with visitors.

Diverse Interactive Projection Formats Enhance Engagement

The World Expo serves not only as a platform for cutting-edge technology and ideas, but also as a vibrant space blending lifestyle, entertainment, and gastronomy - creating joyful experiences for visitors. Interactive elements prove indispensable, as participatory experiences significantly boost visitor recall value.

A prime example is the Yoshimoto Smile Pavilion, whose striking red spherical structure themed around "smiles" commands attention across the Expo grounds. Using this universal language, the pavilion gathers visitors to create treasured "once-in-a-lifetime" joyful moments.

Panasonic projectors, mounted on the sphere's interior walls, spring to life when triggered by visitors:
• Projecting whimsical visuals that elevate the atmosphere
• Deepening visitor immersion through responsive technology
• Transforming passive viewing into dynamic participation

This seamless integration of projection technology and interactive design exemplifies how modern expositions create memorable, shareable experiences.

Breaking Conventional Limits with Innovative Display Formats

Projection systems liberate visual presentations by beaming images onto diverse surfaces and spaces—from structured or irregular walls to sand tables, gauze screens, and even water curtains—transcending traditional exhibition constraints.

A highlight is the twice-nightly aquatic spectacular staged on an 8,800㎡ water stage, offering visitors a mesmerizing nocturnal feast. The dynamic water screen projections synchronize with animated content, enchanting music, and spirited fountains to crescendo the atmosphere into breathtaking climaxes. Naturally, Panasonic projectors play an indispensable role in this aquatic symphony.

Enhancing Pavilion Design and Space Utilization to Elevate Aesthetics and Technological Appeal

The pavilions of various countries and organizations shine with meticulously designed exteriors crafted by renowned architects, yet their interior layouts and spatial experiences are equally crucial. Panasonic's projection systems offer flexible configurations tailored to spatial and design requirements, using light and shadow effects to create diverse atmospheres and scenarios.

The dazzling interplay of light and mesmerizing visual effects not only elevate a pavilion's aesthetic charm and futuristic vibe but also attract larger audiences, boosting its competitiveness and appeal.

Facilitating Information Dissemination & Education While Boosting Tourism

The World Expo's diverse exhibits employ projection technology to vividly portray local lifestyles, regional landscapes, and historical heritage, enabling instant visitor immersion. The Kansai Pavilion exemplifies this through its concentrated showcase of the region's attractions, extensively utilizing Panasonic projection systems to highlight distinctive local resources - effectively stimulating tourism interest.

Fukui Prefecture's innovation stands out with a four-walled ultra-HD projection space recreating Cretaceous Period ecosystems. This full-digital immersion:
• Chronicles significant dinosaur fossil discoveries in western Fukui
• Expands scientific understanding of prehistoric worlds
• Preserves 100-million-year geological heritage
• Inspires contemporary and future generations with evolutionary wonders

Meanwhile, Thailand Pavilion's dual presentation combines national healthcare achievements with an unexpected highlight - live Thai massage demonstrations enhanced by ambient projection visuals, creating uniquely memorable visitor interactions.
